For two years, Manthan’s ‘Adopt a Child’ programme supported 200+ students from Vivekananda Public School. Beyond financial aid, donors and students built meaningful connections, discovering the true value of giving together.When Manthan School embraced the ‘Adopt a Child’ programme, we set out to prove that real change begins with human connection. Over two transformative years, our community – parents, staff and students alike – became donor partners to more than 200 children from Vivekananda Public School. But this was never just about writing cheques.Our leadership team made regular visits to the school, each trip revealing deeper layers of understanding. Students who joined these journeys returned with widened perspectives, their backpacks lighter but their hearts fuller. They saw firsthand how a shared lunch could become a bridge, how laughter over classroom games erased invisible barriers, and how simple acts of attention could mean more than any monetary gift.
