Manthan’s community vaccination drive

10-06-2021

Manthan’s community vaccination drive - protecting lives together.

Manthanites joined Apollo Hospitals and TeNA for a 3-day vaccination drive, safeguarding 4000+ Tellapur residents and school staff during the pandemic. A true testament to collective care and community spirit.

When the pandemic threatened our community, Manthanites sprang into action. Partnering with Apollo Hospitals and the Tellapur Neighbourhood Association (TeNA), we organised a lifesaving 3-day vaccination drive that became a beacon of hope.

Why this mattered

Scale of impact: Over 4000 Tellapur residents vaccinated, including teachers, ayahs, drivers, chefs and their families.

Bridging gaps: Provided critical access to healthcare for marginalised groups in our neighbourhood.

Collective effort: Students, staff and medical professionals worked side-by-side to make every jab count.

The ripple effect
Beyond needles and vials, this initiative embodied Manthan’s ethos – where education meets empathy. Watching our students coordinate logistics while medical teams administered doses reminded us that crises are best faced together.

A lasting lesson
As masks come off, what remains is the memory of how a school became the heartbeat of its community. Because at Manthan, we don’t just teach compassion – we practise it.
