When the Manthan Life Skills Club called for a ‘Share and Care’ clothing drive, our community answered with open hearts and full wardrobes. Parents and students spent weeks gathering gently worn clothes and shoes, each donation carrying a silent promise of warmth for Tellapur’s villagers. The school corridors buzzed with activity as children proudly delivered bundles of pre-loved sweaters, their faces alight with the quiet joy of giving. Teachers and volunteers carefully sorted through the mountain of contributions, ensuring every item could bring dignity to its new owner. What began as a simple collection transformed into a powerful lesson in empathy – watching a once-discarded school uniform find new purpose on a village child’s shoulders, or seeing work shoes get a second life on a farmer’s feet. The drive didn’t just fill boxes; it bridged worlds, turning everyday items into tokens of connection between our campus and the wider community. As the last donation boxes left for Tellapur’s development projects, they carried with them the unspoken message that lies at the heart of Manthan’s ethos: education isn’t complete until it reaches beyond classroom walls to touch lives. This winter, our students learned that sometimes the most ordinary acts – sharing what you no longer need – can become extraordinary lessons in humanity.
