Six teachers and four students represented Manthan as volunteers at the Street Child Cricket World Cup (SCCWC 2023) in Chennai.

Six teachers and four students represented Manthan as volunteers at the Street Child Cricket World Cup (SCCWC 2023) in Chennai. Street Child United supports street children globally. Manthan’s COAP Club hosted a fundraiser with games, food stalls and a film screening, donating all proceeds to SCU.

6 teachers and 4 students represented Manthan as volunteers at the Street Child Cricket World Cup (SCCWC 2023) held in Chennai. Street Child United (SCU) is an organisation that works to provide birth registrations, access to education, protection from violence, gender equality and other such benefits for street children across the globe. The Community Outreach & Aid Programme (COAP) Club at Manthan hosted a fundraiser including games, competitions and food stalls to raise money and awareness about street-connected young people while having fun. Manthan also screened the movie “StreetKids3: Road to Moscow” for our parents and primary students while our middle and high school students inaugurated the event with a musical performance. All proceeds from the sales of movie tickets, food stalls, and other stalls with used books, art and Manthan-grown saplings were donated to SCU.
